The simplest interaction with the web site January 10, 2011 ... Her fast. Simply.
And some developers are able to web pages that function extremely creative use.
There have been a site falling paint.
Today, something new: benthebodyguard.com. Here, a scroll was brought to the entire animation. Great idea, effectively encourages the views across the site. In addition, the text in the "cloud" the main character serves as information only.
And another finding in this topic, thanks freszkom - nikebetterworld.com - page scrolls as if "layers" - you can scroll through the traditional, but gives a better effect clicking on the navigation dots on the right. Looks great.

Minecraft November 21, 2010 Every day I'm not the kind of player. In addition to games in the series "Civilization" (which I love and all the parts went through several times), and beyond occasional duels in "Need for Speed" with my wife - I do not play anything, and nothing makes me more games do not attract.
However, a few weeks ago, led by his boredom which she reached me, and curious about the videos found in trench (to see below), signed up and bought an account for the alpha version (!) Minecraft games. I played and ... wsiorbało me on the whole.
I've never played in a game. It seems pointless - you're alone, you do not have enemies, you have an infinite number of live ... a word game without a goal. The thing that sucks is the same game world - the infinite, very varied, and rozbudowywowany still the best - so that you can endlessly explore and expand. Climate can not be the end to describe - it is simply ADVENTURE. As for me rewelka.
If this proves straw enthusiasm - this game is going to accompany me for some time.Minecraftem associated with very many interesting opportunities. For some time I wanted to set up a special blog, but what if I have this. :) So let me put a special tag, and maybe I'll publish minecraftowe entries.

The periodic HTML5 tags November 2, 2010 An interesting way to introduce elements of HTML5 - in the form of the periodic table tags used on joshduck.com / periodic-table.html. Tags are divided into categories, and each item has a description - visible when clicked. I like it, well done. :) You can also test any website, so that all items will be highlighted on the HTML5 used.
Found in trench, as usual during Monday's morning coffee:)

It's free for commercial projects September 13, 2010 On the Web can find a lot of free resources for webmasters, web designers, webdeveloperów and similar people - enough to know a little English google.com and type in "free templates" or "free icons" or "free whatever". However, in most cases found so freebiesów is a big but: you can use at will, but only for their own use / non-commercial. License in such cases does not permit use of such an element, downloaded for free at the proposed and sold to the Client, or even one that earns (in one way or another.) Restrictions are also often a different kind - you can use wherever you want, but you have to put info about the author or a link to his site.
Fortunately, there are also (rare, but there are) cases in the Web sites that let you download the materials wyzbytych above restrictions. From today I will try to post such links on the blog. Search for them under the tag darmowe_dla_komercyjnych (I know stupid name tag, as I invent a different, more catchy and short - the swap.:)
So - as I said - today the first two links of the same type:
andreasviklund.com / templates / - several templates (the lower flight, but finds a few gems), with which you can do exactly what you want - also used in commercial projects. Author - Andreas Viklund - asked to leave a link back (which is what I would urge), but this request, not demand, or bonds. Many people, however, leave such a link, as evidenced by the PageRank of the above parties (8). This shows that it is worthwhile to give the community something totally for free.
voooz.com/2010/03/03/free-design-style-templates-for-commercial-use / - I found one more template for free without any restrictions. Can not look really great, but my falcon's eye sees when light lifting can be a great layout.

CSS3 in Internet Explorer 6 August 21, 2010 Recently a lot of writing on the Web at new HTML5 and CSS3 standards. Personally, I am pleased that the technologies are developing, but as to their rapid uptake - I am a skeptic. Lots of code still time before the developers definitely turn to those at-half-new techniques. On the other hand CSS3 is increasingly used and is starting to happen, that I visit pages that use the CSS3 'time ", as if there were no previous versions of languages of the web. In connection with this some time ago I was wondering if it would be possible to write a system that somehow CSS3 definitions are correctly displayed on browsers that support them (I am thinking mainly IE6-7). I did a little research and found out (and how) that the solution of this type already exists - makes it possible to implement only parts of CSS3 benefits for IE6, but good and that.
Talking about CSS3 Pie - an application that using the appropriate file. Explorerowi htc shows how to display the new styles. Talking about rounding the corners of boxes, use the shadows and gradients in the background - that is the most important functions. In my opinion - a sensation, and something very useful today. Therefore, lands on this blog.

How to create a PDF from a web page? June 24, 2010 You can take a picture of the page, edit them in any graphics program and saved as a PDF ... but it will just be a picture saved in the PDF document, while the web-based application converts pdfmyurl.com simply a web page into a PDF file.
Generated PDF file is not perfect - here and there, "stand out" gradients, and not "catch" blocks Flash ... but all the texts are zaznaczalne and editable. This webaplikacja surely deserves a mention, so I'm doing it. ;)

Color combinations June 15, 2010 Not pouring water: colorcombos.com is one of the sites involved in the patterns of color schemes and publishing web pages. It has a database of patterns, colors and tester kikla other options, but for me the most is the ability to "download" color scheme of any page by entering its URL. I do not know how it works, but it works and is cool and useful. :)

Another unusual use of CSS June 13, 2010 I love this kind of fun, it reminds me of the Amiga combining (such as "how to connect it to work"), scenowym (rutynki altering a million times to squeeze out more frames), or haxorowym / phreakingowym ('eah! After all this we can use more power CPU floppy drive and a printer! ").
But the thing: Follow this link to a page that presents the plain text ... but whoa, whoa.Is the ordinary? And if you activate it? :) This porn for the poor;)

HTML5 and CSS3 - the threshold of a new era? June 11, 2010 I'm skeptical about the use of new languages HTML5 and CSS3. In my opinion, to jump on the new versions can be effectively done only under two conditions:
Provided that produce and promote the software (browsers, editors and others) fully support the new standards, and then replacing the old programs. Provided that the transition to new habits and get used users (mainly the creators of web pages) to new technologies. The first point is already being implemented. To my surprise, the mission of replacing old with new browsers in the next few months / years is probably fail.
However, I have doubts as to the second point. Why? Let me explain:
Take for instance the XHTML. Despite the clarity of the code and semantic structure, which in theory should be programmers and developers with a very appealing (if compared to HTML4), XHTML, simply did not catch on. People (often and I) write the good old HTML4, which forgives mistakes and is well known.
But not only - because I think that we are dealing with something that I call the "syndrome of mp3". Empetrójki are referred to as kings in their industry, although the sound recording format is already very old (has been 19 years!), And despite the fact that there has long been the method of simply better in all respects. I am afraid that the HTML4 may be the same. And with CSS3.
HTML5 and CSS3 are semantics and simplicity, a lot of new opportunities so that we are missing (such as audio and video in your code, easy vectors, rotating objects, rounded corners, shadows, multiple backgrounds, etc. - it is this very much) and the lack of which flew graphics and multiple plugs divami. But HTML5 and CSS3 is the new tags, a new way of thinking, new approach. People are inherently lazy and do not like to learn new things, especially when not required. Do the new technologies to adopt? Despite the marketing efforts of webmaster community - probably adopt a long way away. Not to mention the expulsion of the flash.
To complete the picture and give a feel for what's going on people who have about these new technologies have a poor understanding, two links: html5demos.com - a lot of demonstrations HTML5 css3please.com - sand, which may be testing the new in CSS3.
... And for good measure:
Guide critic Pornela HTML5 in (the approach a bit more technical)

His recent projects, the latest templates in the blog June 10, 2010 The left column blog I've added a list of five recent implementation in my company, and five RevolWEB latest templates from the store GRX.pl. At the moment this is done a little "lamersko" (the iframe), but it works and looks good. I admit that the inability to add this gadget was one of the main reasons for the decision to escape from Blox, which was a very good decision (although the lack of a social support my blog now gives the characters).
