FireBug December 6, 2006 In Riddle read the post about a certain extension to Firefox. I decided to check them. Now, after several hours of work and play, I consider that FireBug for webmasters is almost mandatory. Of brilliant in its simplicity and intuitiveness. Shortens testing and development sites to a minimum. Together with Firefox and the toolbar Webdeveloper creates probably the best set of tools for web developers. I recommend.

A good sitemap November 29, 2006 Sitemap.xml (or, rarely, or sitemap.txt sitemap.html) is the name of the file that is placed in the root directory of your site. The file contains "pointers" to all indexed pages worth of service. It may also contain the intervals at which data pages are updated as well as other less important information (priority, date of last modification). The intention of the parties to facilitate the maps working search engine spiders. I do it. Side, the positive effect is that search engines prefer to index the page with a sitemap file, and (probably) help to position your site. Until now, dedicated to different spiders sitemapy various search engines differ from each other. However, recently, Google, Yahoo and Microsoft (MSN) together (!) Developed a standardized protocol sitemap. And hence the subjectivist about:) Well, I now know how to make a good map.

Pantone November 28, 2006 Pantone color palette is a set of several (dozen?) Thousands of colors created by mixing percentages of others. During the implementation of some orders got a Pantone color and markings to be used in the project. Not knowing how to transform the color of the RGB system known to all, I started digging through the Internet. The result was the establishment of a new forum thread in the IM / MI and to find a table approximate RGB values for Pantone colors.

Lightbox November 28, 2006 Some time ago Grxmrx reminded me of the existence of interesting js script to display the complete version illustration - Lightbox. The result of the script is very impressive, although it has several disadvantages: advanced technology is likely to limit the availability (or will not work on all browsers), while viewing images side is blocked and no you can not compare the two images ... Despite this, the script I think it is worth recommending.

What's the positioning? November 24, 2006 In my work, many clients do not realize that the creation itself will not bring them any profit (or minimum, when traditionally it a boost.) Those customers do not believe in the positioning and do not attach importance to this type of advertising. You have to convince them. Once in the interview come to the money, hands them to fall. Actually - do not blame them. Because as long as the positioning does not start - is not measurable. Maybe this picture and the article when I refer them to read it, change their attitude towards this subject?

What happens to your tenner? :) October 31, 2006 Once, long ago, I had been on a similar idea, but I did not know how to do this ... but someone invented a way:) I am afraid, however, that notes 10zł is too much compared to people who register on the site gdziejestmieszko.pl, that could have been better than a chance to track the history of banknotes. Anyway, an interesting idea:)
